Our principles and ways of working
We have a very simple philosophy... We are here to make your work easier.A typical scenario would involve:
1) Solution Development
You come to us with the need or problem – we develop the solution that will meet it OR solve it.
We only develop in the current FileMaker® software, at the moment it is Filemaker Pro 11 and Filemaker Server11 and Filemaker Pro 12/Server 12
2) No nonsense fact finding
You need to be a company or department of no more than 50 employees and either have a need for a bespoke FileMaker solution OR an existing FileMaker solution which is NOT performing. We will visit you and discuss the needs or problem, this initial meeting is FREE with no obligation. If we cannot help we will point you in the right direction, if we can help then….
Action…
- Discuss your business and understand it's needs
- Understand how you are working now, the business model and the functions
- Meet the users and document the paper trail and report requirements
- Report back to agree the specification, milestones and fee
- Either rebuild and modify the current system, or prototype a new system
- Select a staff member(s) to work with us and to learn basic skills as we construct your database
- Continue….
We are able to provide training and support for key members of your staff so that you can, if you so choose, retain future control of your databse, or you can alternatively choose to have a fully supported agreement whereby we manage and support your database on terms that you are happy with.
